This standard specifies the inspection standard for the appearance quality of O - type rubber sealing ring (O ring for short).According to the shape, feature and size of o-ring defects, the surface defects are classified and specified.

1. letter symbol

D1 -- inner diameter of O ring

D2 -- diameter of O ring section

E -- dislocation size

F -- The height and width of a projecting burr after trimming

I -- overtrimming width

G -- width of open mode shrinkage crack

H -- depth of die opening shrinkage crack

J -- length of flow mark (only allowed to from a circular direction)

K -- depth of flow mark (only allowed to from a circular direction)

L -- length and width of concave and convex defects

M -- depth and height of concave and convex defects

2 quality grade

2.1 grade

2.1.1 N (general) : suitable for general use.

2.1.2 s-level (higher level) : applicable to occasions where the appearance quality of the earth and heaven is relatively high.

2.1.3 NZ grade and SZ grade (special grade) : choose any three types of defects in N or S grade, and specify higher requirements for appearance quality, which are called NZ grade or SZ grade, and shall be agreed by both parties.

2.2 quality logo

Use the letters specified in 3.1 as appearance quality symbols.

3 appearance quality

3.1 size

The dimensions and tolerances of the finished o-ring shall conform to GB 3452.10 -- ?Hydraulic pneumatic o-ring size series and tolerances ?or the provisions of relevant national standards.

3.2 general requirements

No pores, cracks and bubbles are allowed in o-ring.The surface shall be smooth and clean, and the surface defects shall not exceed the prescribed limits.

3.3 surface defects

The surface defect types and quality requirements of o-rings shall comply with the table.
