2. Combustion method

3. Hot air aging experiment
Take samples, put them in the aging box for one day, and observe the aging phenomenon.In order to be graded aging, you can gradually increase the temperature.For example, under 150 degrees neoprene, NR, SBR will be brittle, NBR , EPDM still have elastic.Rise to 180 degrees, ordinary NBR will be brittle;And 230 degrees, HNBR will be brittle, FKM and SIL are still very good elasticity.
4. Low temperature method
Take samples and use dry ice and alcohol to create a suitable low temperature environment.Soak the sample in low temperature for 2-5 minutes. Feel the hardness of o-rings at the selected temperature.For example, at -40?, the same high temperature and oil resistant SIL and FKM are very good contrast, SIL will be relatively soft.
5. Measure specific gravity
With precision electronic scale, plus a cup of water, a hair can be.Generally speaking, FKM has the largest proportion, more than 1.8, and CR and ECO have more than 1.3. Those with a significantly larger proportion can be considered as these rubber.
